Fixed Bed Biological Reactor(FBBR)

The main function of a Fixed Bed Biological Reactor(FBBR) is to trap and remove fine particles from the water. It also helps clean the water by using helpful bacteria that grow on the surface of the media. These bacteria break down harmful substances like ammonia (NH3) and nitrite(NO2) through a process called nitrification, improving water quality and making it safer for fish and other aquatic life.
